Mele Mossman is a Native Hawaiian artist and a student at Leeward Community College pursuing a degree in substance abuse. He enjoys trying various techniques such as wood burning and dyes with a variety of materials including leather and plastic acrylic. To experiment with dimension, he split up the picture into segments. “Moon Surfing,” Mahina Heʻe Nalu, is the result.
