Translation:
1 The fine light rain came/To the hot plains/The plains of Wai‘awa.
2 The rain from the Ko’olau wind nourished/The spirit of Ala ‘Ike/The sound of falling rain brought life.
3 Rain in the clouds gave life/The elegant, much loved rain inspired/The Wai’awa district.
