I am a Life/Earth science teacher on Maui. I’ve created a non-profit WITH my students called “Malama Da ‘Aina Movement”… We are learning to care for the land on campus and in the community. Actually, several of my students have changed their high school track to agriculture because of The Movement. I have shown your poem “I AM A FARMER” to my classes and they are in complete awe of you. You give them Chicken Skin…If they saw you in real life…they might actually pass out . HA!
