Kumu ʻIokepa Badis teaches Hawaiian language at Leeward Community College.  But when heʻs not teaching his students about the language and culture, he enjoys taking photographs.  His wonderful photos have a distinct Hawaiian point of view, capturing a Hawaiʻi from a native perspective.  Pūpū A ʻO ʻEwa Native Hawaiian Writing and Arts is proud to publish his photos, including the series, Kuhiawaho and Nani Kauaʻi I Ka Mālie.
